These high-durability roller conveyor flow racks each consist of a bed of steel rollers set in a steel frame that is designed to install into storage racks and pallet racks. The steel rollers are stronger than aluminum rollers and provide better damage resistance in conveying applications where the roller will encounter impact, wear, or abrasion. The steel frame offers good strength in warehousing, assembly picking, and inventory operations. The rollers provide support for items across the entire surface of the roller as the items glide along the roller conveyor flow rack. The rollers are set high in the frame so that items can flow along the rack even if the width of the items is slightly wider than the width of the rollers. The smallest item on the conveyor should be supported by at least three rollers at all times. Flow rack conveyors have a narrow bed of skate wheels or rollers that allow cartons, totes, and other flat-bottomed items to glide along the rack.
